Hi guys!

I'm Jaz, the Founder of ZUNI STUDIOS. 

ZUNI STUDIOS is a handcrafted jewellery business born in Adelaide, South Australia. I'm a crafty girl at heart and have tried my hand in many creative side quests. Cake making, sewing clothes, making wheat bags, painting, you name it I've probably dabbled in it. 

ZUNI STUDIOS was born in a strange set of circumstances. After working as a Registered Nurse for 2 years and a Clinical Nurse in Community Palliative Care for 4 years, funnily enough my own health took a turn. 

I was diagnosed with a chronic illness called POTS in late 2024, which resulted in me having to say goodbye to my dream job, leaving me unemployed until now. Being house/bed bound for many months I've had a lot of time to think about the possibilities of my future and what specific accomodations I need in a job, all of which are complex for employers to accomodate. 

I started to make necklaces at home just for myself. I found it was the perfect way to reignite my creativity, and in turn sitting down playing around with beads and colours calmed my nervous system. And so I eventually had the thought, why not make my beautiful designs available to you all? What do I have to lose? And well, here we are. 

The dream for ZUNI STUDIOS is to create fun, vibrant and bold pieces that spark a little joy and add a hit of dopamine to any outfit. It was important to me to create a brand of high quality, but one that is also more financially accessible to my customers. All of our beautiful pieces are designed, sourced and handcrafted with love and care by me. I hope to create a little something to suit everyones taste and individuality. 

This business has reignited my passion and given me a purpose, something to look forward to in my future again, and for that I am incredibly grateful. 

I truely hope through my creations I can spark some joy into my customers lives. I'm incredibly excited for the journey ahead and I'm oh so happy you're here for the ride. I must warn you though, I have a lot of big plans, ideas and dreams for ZUNI, so strap yourselves in!
